Summer Job by the Sea!

Have you always dreamed of working by the sea and making a difference for our fantastic archipelago? Then this is your chance!

Your Role

As a summer worker in our operations, you will get to:

  • Clean our beautiful environments and keep them in top condition.
  • Manage waste and empty toilets.
  • Assist with accessibility and maintenance of our hiking trails.
  • Share knowledge with visitors about areas, hiking trails, and points of interest.
  • Have a varied and dynamic workday where no day is the same.

What We Offer

  • Summer job for 7 to 12 weeks.
  • A beautiful archipelago environment that will make every workday inspiring.
  • We have several positions based in three different locations; Boda or Gålö, or the workday may start somewhere on the mainland between Björnö and Kärringboda.

About You

We are looking for someone with an open mind and a big heart for nature. Experience and knowledge of nature are a plus, but most importantly is your enthusiasm and commitment. Perhaps you are studying in the fields of nature, property, or tourism. Regardless, you have a strong interest in an active outdoor life. Your willingness to work hard and collaborate with us for a sustainable archipelago environment is highly valued.

You need to have access to your own car to get to work easily.

About Us

The Archipelago Foundation is one of Stockholm County's largest landowners and is responsible for preserving and developing large and urban recreational areas for both Stockholm residents and visitors from other parts of Sweden and the world.

The areas managed by the Archipelago Foundation exist to provide opportunities for everyone to experience and enjoy the unique nature and beautiful cultural landscape of Stockholm's archipelago. About forty areas from north to south are open year-round for you as a visitor. Areas that the Archipelago Foundation owns and manages to ensure that everyone has access to our beautiful archipelago nature!
