About Us

Your colleagues consist of a team of experienced and competent physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and administrators. We also collaborate with rehab clinics in the nearby towns of Grästorp and Nossebro for work, professional development, and networking events. An advantage is also that the rehab clinic is located in the same building as the health center and the municipality's rehab unit.
The clinic is centrally located in the small town of Vara, close to both the train station and E20, with amenities such as a swimming pool and concert hall within walking distance.

About the Job
Your tasks include examining, assessing, and treating patients of all ages with varying functional abilities and activity levels. Common conditions you will encounter as an occupational therapist include reduced hand function, pain, stress issues, and mental health challenges. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is developed. The job also involves prescribing aids and certificates for housing adaptations.
We actively work on development projects to continuously improve our methods. In today's society, there is a focus on digital tools, which we embrace to meet customer needs. Therefore, work can take place at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Treatment of patients is primarily individual but can also be in groups. The work involves collaboration with other professionals, both within the unit and with other partners. You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the manager for the development of the organization in an ongoing improvement process.
About You
You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the field is an advantage, but we also welcome newly graduated applicants.
We are looking for someone who values working independently, organizing, and planning their work effectively based on set goals. You can handle uneven workloads and unforeseen events. In your work, you will meet many different people, so it is important that you are attentive, communicative, and can identify the individual's unique needs to develop a shared treatment plan.

Other Information
This position is a temporary contract from June to August.
Travel may be required for the job, and a B driver's license is required.
Interviews at the clinic will be held during week 16.

About the Recruitment Process
The selection process consists of two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who will invite candidates for a phone interview. After the application period, the hiring manager will make a second selection of applicants and invite them for an interview at the clinic.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe specific situations as concretely as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
