Kungälv Hospital is looking for medical students who want to work in patient-related tasks during the summer of 2025. About the Job

Working as a medical student in patient-related tasks means being involved in planning, decision-making, and execution of care measures throughout the patient's hospital stay on the ward.

Examples of tasks are listed below, with variation based on each department's needs:

• Conversations and care of patients, such as arrival interviews and care status
• Care planning and documentation of care work
• Participate in preparing, administering, and giving medications
• Sampling, PVK control, and placing PVK and catheters
• Participate in rounds
• Contact with relatives
• Nursing discharge summaries

Qualifications

You are a medical student who by the summer of 2025 has completed at least term 9. Previous experience as a nursing assistant or caregiver is an advantage.

You have knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form.

You are caring, responsible, and meticulous. You are flexible and can work in an environment with a lot of varying tasks at a fast pace. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Other

This position involves working days, evenings, and weekends throughout the summer.
