Kraftsam Recruitment & Staffing is looking for a Preparer or an experienced Welder who wants to grow into the role of estimator for our client's account. In this role, you will calculate and submit bids for welded and machined steel structures.

Job Description:

Our client is in an expansive phase and needs to strengthen their team with a Preparer in Finspång. In their workshop, welded and machined components and steel structures are manufactured according to the customer's specific requirements and wishes. All manufacturing is done with full traceability and documentation. The majority of the constructions are produced in carbon steel, but products in stainless steel and aluminum are also manufactured.

You will be trained in a role where your overall tasks will be to handle inquiries and build a calculation regarding time and materials to then submit bids. You will manage customer and supplier contacts and work closely with production, following the products you have calculated, and in consultation with the production manager, ensure quality, delivery precision, and customer satisfaction.

Who are you? We are looking for someone who is already a preparer or someone with at least 5 years of welding experience who wants to take on new challenges. You will utilize your previous experiences to grow into a role where you calculate jobs, but in the future, you will also have a project management function.

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Experience in reading and understanding drawings
• Good basic knowledge of Word and Excel
• A general interest in technical solutions
• Experience working in a workshop environment and preferably also with customers during maintenance stops/installation of manufactured products

As a person, you are social, have an open mind to learn new things, and take advantage of your colleagues' experiences and knowledge. You can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
