About the Position

Our client is now looking for a Supplier Quality Manager (SQM) to ensure high quality among the company's suppliers. In this role, you will work proactively to minimize quality costs and drive improvements within the supply chain in collaboration with purchasing, design, and production. You can be based in Karlstad, Karlskoga, or Linköping.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of SQM, you will work to ensure and improve the quality of suppliers. You will participate in the evaluation and qualification of new and existing suppliers and follow up on their quality work to ensure that requirements are met. By analyzing quality data, you will identify trends and propose improvement measures. You will collaborate with different departments within the company to ensure product and process quality and participate in audits and reviews of suppliers. In case of deviations, you will drive improvement work and ensure that necessary corrective actions are implemented. You will also work proactively.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

A degree in engineering, such as mechanical, electronics, industrial economics, chemistry, mechatronics, or similar
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Knowledge of quality techniques and methods, such as 7 Quality Management Tools and Core Tools
Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO9001, EN9100, ISO 14001, and AQAP
The ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation
Good understanding of supplier processes and the supply chain
A valid driver's license (B)

To succeed in the role, we see that you are social, curious, meticulous, and have a genuine interest in technology. You have analytical skills and work systematically to solve problems. Furthermore, you have good communication and collaboration skills.

Extent: full-time
Location: Karlskoga, Karlstad, or Linköping. Travel may occur in the position.
