Your Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist in the neuro rehab team, you will meet patients with neurological injuries and diseases in outpatient care. The purpose of the occupational therapy interventions is to create good conditions for the patient to achieve independence and participation in daily life. Our hope is to convey knowledge, improve functional and activity capacity, provide support in a changed life situation, and together with the patient find strategies to live life in a new way.

Common tasks for you as an occupational therapist may include assessment and training of cognitive function, hand function, and support regarding activity balance and fatigue. All interventions are carried out in collaboration with other team members. Our interventions are person-centered and based on the individual's goals and needs.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed occupational therapist. We are looking for someone with experience in or interest in neurology and teamwork. We prefer that you have worked a few years as an occupational therapist in outpatient care. You find it easy to collaborate and build relationships with colleagues, patients, and relatives. You also have the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your daily tasks based on your profession. You see your role in a larger context, for example, in teamwork and collaboration with other units.

A successful rehabilitation requires us to stay updated and open to new working methods. We value that you see it as positive to have the opportunity to take initiatives and be involved in improving the operations. We prefer that you are an unpretentious and confident person. A driver's license is desirable. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
