As a care assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will provide good care, service, and support to our residents.

We are now looking for new care assistants for our cozy nursing home Öster Mälarstrand in Västerås.

Öster Mälarstrand nursing home is a newly built facility with 90 apartments spread over five floors.

With us, you will have competent and dedicated managers who support and develop you in your role as a care assistant and in your development at Forenede Care. We run a company where you grow together with us.

In the role of care assistant, you will provide care and support based on the residents' wishes and in accordance with applicable assistance decisions, with a strong focus on quality. This includes performing personal hygiene, assisting with meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and engaging in social activities. Social activities may include conversations, games, bike rides, music activities, or similar.

As a summer substitute with us, you have good chances of extending your contract or receiving a permanent position.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several colleagues for full-time/part-time summer positions.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

We also consider previous experience in elderly care and dementia care as an advantage.

Before we offer employment, you must present an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require proof of a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
