JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a summer substitute Community Guide on an hourly basis from May to August.

As a Community Guide, you are part of the team in our Customer Center located in the municipal building in Hammarstrand. You are part of the Communication Unit in the Municipal Management Department. You enjoy when our visitors, residents of Ragunda, entrepreneurs, and employees get answers to their questions and assistance with their matters. The goal is for those who contact us to receive help whether they choose to email us, message us on social media, call, or visit us.

The responsibilities of the Community Guide include all aspects of the Customer Center's service operations such as phone calls, visits, and guidance on various issues. The tasks are very varied; you never know what the person in the next call wants or needs. As a Community Guide, you see solutions instead of problems. You are attentive to what people are asking for and have a positive approach to interacting with others. We help each other to reduce waiting times for assistance and to make our operations as efficient as possible. The pace can be very high at times.

Our organization is small and flexible, which means that tasks may vary over time. You collaborate with representatives from all municipal departments and work with both internal and external tasks. This can include everything from investigation assignments to technical assistance for telephony.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a person, you are driven, independent, and have a knack for collaboration. You are structured and quality-conscious and thrive when there is a lot to do at times. You enjoy stepping in where needed, are flexible, and have an interest in societal issues. You like working to solve future citizen matters in the best way possible and have the ability to identify how we can develop our service. You ensure that tasks are completed and have the ability to prioritize in daily operations when necessary.

Since communication with citizens and colleagues is a significant part of the role, it is essential to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. In your role, you may need to take calls in English, so we are looking for someone who is proficient in spoken English at a good level and feels comfortable speaking English.

As you will be working in many IT-based systems simultaneously, you should have a high level of IT maturity. A good habit and skill in searching for information, managing social media, and web tasks are required.

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education.

It is advantageous if you have a post-secondary education in administration or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

Other language skills besides English are a plus.

We also consider it advantageous if you have previously worked in a contact center or citizen center and have experience from public operations.
