About the company GKN Aerospace Sweden is part of GKN Aerospace, which manufactures engine components, aircraft structures, cabin windows, wiring, and much more for many of the world's aircraft. The companies in the Aerospace division that work with parts for jet engines together form Engines, and at the facility in Trollhättan, advanced parts for engines for aircraft and space rockets are developed and manufactured. They also work with engine maintenance.

GKN Aerospace has production facilities in Trollhättan, Kongsberg (Norway), Mexico, and the USA. They also have an engineering office in Bangalore, India, and offices in Stockholm (Public Affairs) and Gothenburg. The headquarters for Engines is located in Trollhättan.

Your tasks We are looking for an inspector for the value stream Fabrication where we manufacture complex titanium parts and high-volume products in Inconel. The main tasks involve welding inspection of GEnx TRF, but also for TEC and XWB. We are looking for someone who values high quality in their work, is driven, enjoys working in a team, and collaborates to achieve weekly goals. Quality and maintaining pace are of great focus

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring that we have the right quality in what we deliver
• Maintaining production pace and delivering as promised.
• Coming up with ideas and contributing to continuous improvements.
• Working according to our safety regulations

Your profile To thrive in this role, you need to be service-oriented with a strong focus on quality. You need to be communicative, service-minded, and contribute to a positive team environment with an open and positive attitude.

It is important that you can easily collaborate with others as we work in teams around the products. As a person, you are curious, responsible, and engaged. We consider it an advantage if you have LEAN experience.

Qualifications:

• 3-year upper secondary education with a technical focus or equivalent workshop experience
• Previous experience in inspection work
• Previous experience in welding is an asset
• Basic knowledge of Swedish in spoken and written form
