Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. We prefer female applicants for the position, but personal suitability is of utmost importance.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 66-year-old woman living in Överkalix
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• can work in a household with a cat

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have a B driver's license and access to your own car
• share the customer's interests

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is at 82.5%. The job involves working with day shifts with on-call hours at night. Shifts occur both on weekdays and weekends according to the schedule.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
