At our office in Motala, we are 18 colleagues. We are now looking for a chemist who wants to become part of our thriving company and continue the expansion journey with us.

About the position

In the role of chemist in environmental and water technology at Ramson, you will participate in initial investigations and tests on-site at customer locations and in our own lab, verifying pilot runs, and based on your expertise, you will be involved in proposing and project-managing full-scale solutions. You will be responsible for the operation of our internal water laboratory and the purchases required to carry out your work. Furthermore, you will visit customers to understand their unique needs and which products and services are best suited for their operations.

Together with our installers, you will assist in ensuring that our facilities are set up, which may involve some travel in the position, with about 1–2 overnight stays per month. Before your assignments, you will send quotes to customers and act to some extent as technical sales support. If you are interested in working with outreach activities and sales, in addition to the upselling that comes naturally in your role as a chemist during your customer visits, there is also an opportunity to develop in this area.

About you

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in chemistry. We would also like you to have solid experience in environmental and water technology as well as chemical apparatus technology, but we highly value personal suitability and therefore welcome you who are at the beginning of your career in the chemistry field, or you who do not have formal education but have worked many years in the industry. As a person, you are ambitious and driven, helpful, social, as well as meticulous and analytical. It is advantageous if you also have experience or interest in sales. You express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English, have good computer skills, and hold a B driver's license.
