Your Responsibilities
This position involves advanced-level research on chemical vapor deposition growth of SiC and fundamental material characterization. As a postdoctoral researcher, you are expected to publish your research in scientific journals, present your work at international conferences, and manage everyday issues with chemical vapor deposition reactors.
As a postdoctoral researcher, your primary focus will be on research. Teaching may also be included in your duties, but no more than one-fifth of your working time.
Your Qualifications
To be eligible for the position of postdoctoral researcher, you must have a PhD or a foreign degree that is deemed equivalent to a PhD. Your degree must be completed by the time the employment decision is made.
It is advantageous if your degree was obtained no more than three years before the application deadline for this position. If there are special reasons, those who obtained their PhD earlier may also be considered, for example, due to various types of statutory leaves.
You should have prior experience in epitaxial growth of SiC and other wide bandgap semiconductors using chemical vapor deposition. You should also:
- Have practical high-level knowledge of single crystal layer deposition of SiC and an advanced understanding of low-pressure chemical vapor deposition systems.
- Have significant experience using analytical tools, particularly DLTS, AFM, SEM, TRPL, and Raman spectroscopy.
- Have a very good publication record.
- Have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, as well as excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Be highly motivated and have good collaborative skills.
Your Workplace
You will work in the Department of Semiconductor Materials.
About the Employment
