Licensed Junior Doctor at CFOG Västerbotten

Region Västerbotten works to ensure that good health and sustainable development strengthen each other. We take responsibility for equitable welfare and for research and innovation to yield results.

The Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology (CFOG) Västerbotten is a regional organization with approximately 250 employees, where units at the three hospitals in the region collaborate. CFOG is a university healthcare unit that places great emphasis on research, development, and education, conducting research in collaboration with Umeå University.

CFOG has a working method with regional process orientation, and the hospitals in the region jointly ensure that people in Västerbotten have access to specialist maternity care, delivery, postpartum care, gynecological outpatient care, gynecological surgery, tumor surgery, and robotic surgery.

CFOG is now seeking a licensed junior doctor for a temporary position in our Skellefteå facility.

The unit in Skellefteå is at the forefront of developing and improving the benign aspects of gynecological care and obstetrics. In addition to advanced surgical techniques, expertise is available in areas such as vulvar outpatient care, tearing teams, urotherapy, infertility investigations, and a delivery clinic with approximately 800 births per year.

The clinic is small, which means that everyone in the workplace has an important and clear role. The medical team is young and engaged, driven by the desire to help each other continuously provide good care to our patients.

In addition to close collaboration within the medical team, the workplace is characterized by promoting cooperation across professional roles, focusing on the entire operation and supporting each other. Furthermore, there is strong collaboration with employees in other departments at the hospital, such as surgery, anesthesia, and pediatrics.

As a licensed junior doctor with us, you contribute knowledge and engagement that makes people feel secure.

You contribute to a positive atmosphere in the workplace and actively participate in development work and education.
