Vattenfall Consumer Sales Nordic is responsible for marketing and sales of electricity agreements for households and small businesses in the Nordic region. We are part of BA Customers & Solutions, which also includes district heating, E-Mobility, and decentralized energy solutions such as solar panels. Our organization has an agile working method and consists of several cross-functional business teams and a number of specialized teams that work closely with these.

About the Role

If so, you might be the one we are looking for! We are now seeking a driven and enthusiastic Test Lead, who will play a key role in ensuring good quality and functionality for our user interfaces both on the web and in our mobile app. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying testing needs as well as planning, designing, and executing both manual and automated test cases to validate usability and functionality.

Through close collaboration with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders, you will identify relevant issues to test and ensure that business needs are met effectively.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing QA strategies, processes, and methods to meet our quality goals and ensure reliable, user-centered releases.
• Collaborating with business teams and other stakeholders to define testing needs, requirements, and priorities, in consultation with requirements analysts, UX, and developers.
• Designing, writing, and executing both manual and automated test cases, focusing on acceptance testing.
• Analyzing user feedback and quality metrics to continuously identify improvement opportunities.
• Driving improvements in test coverage and automation, as well as collaborating with developers to optimize release processes and reduce manual work.
• Promoting a culture of quality ownership within the organization through mentorship, collaboration, and transparent communication.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in testing and quality assurance, and who wants to contribute to ensuring that our products meet the highest standards. To succeed in this role, you have:

• Experience in a similar role, focusing on acceptance testing of digital web services or mobile apps aimed at individuals or small businesses.
• In-depth knowledge of test planning, test methodology, execution, and reporting of tests.
• Solid experience in both manual and automated testing of user interfaces.
• Experience in building and leading testing and quality assurance, including selecting testing tools and designing effective processes.
• Extensive experience collaborating with stakeholders in the business as well as requirements analysts, UX specialists, and developers to ensure the QA perspective throughout the development lifecycle.
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good understanding of agile work and experience working in scrum teams.

It is a plus if you also have:

• Experience working with stakeholder management, test management, and testing as a consultant or in a larger company or organization.
• A strong interest in the energy sector and a desire to contribute to sustainable solutions by creating high-quality digital services with a good customer experience.
• Certification in, for example, ISTQB.
• Experience ensuring good accessibility in digital interfaces that support WCGA AA.
• Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, UiPath, or Playwright, as well as experience with API automation testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

As a person, you are meticulous and reliable, you perform your work in a structured manner and deliver on time with good quality. You also have good collaboration skills and can contribute to joint initiatives through clear communication and dialogue with relevant stakeholders. Furthermore, you are proactive and tackle problems and challenges with a sense of energy and enthusiasm. You have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in your work that helps you independently and collaboratively lead our testing efforts from requirements to execution.
