Personal Assistant Wanted

Hello!

I am a happy boy who loves to swim, ride, go boating, and be in the forest or by the sea. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, and watching movies.

Now I have room for another star in my awesome assistant team, and I think you should apply for the job. As a personal assistant, you will ensure that my daily life runs smoothly and that I can live as independently as possible. You will become part of a team that develops together with me.

I hope that you:

• Can match my energy, but also motivate me or help me find calm when needed. In other words, you are empathetic and patient, attentive and playful.
• Are self-assured, take initiative, and take responsibility. At the same time, it is easy for you to follow instructions and ask for help when needed.
• Enjoy learning new things and figuring out solutions. I believe this means you are curious, creative, and handy. You also need to be able to absorb facts, instructions, and new information in various formats.

Requirements

• You must be ready for a long-term employment. We will have fun from day one, but it takes time to really get to know each other, so I want you to come in with the intention of staying for at least two years.
• On weekdays, I am at school, and there are shifts that span afternoons, evenings, nights, and mornings. On weekends and holidays, there are shifts available around the clock. I go to school south of the city and live within the city limits.
• You will participate in my various activities and adventures, and sometimes you will need to lift me, so you need to have a body that can handle that.
• You also need to be able to swim.
• Regardless of what your first language is, you must understand and communicate important information in Swedish without any problems.

In my home, all genders, gender identities, sexual orientations, beliefs, ethnicities, and ages are welcome.

Position

65-70% distributed over days, evenings, and weekends. There is an opportunity to work extra. This is a one-year temporary position, but there is a great opportunity to transition to a permanent position afterward.

Schedule

Day 7:30-16, evening 16-21, weekend 8:30-14:30 or 14:30-21 (possibility for long shifts and extra shifts available).

We are also looking for an assistant for an 80% awake night shift. Please indicate in your application which you prefer to work.

Start date: April, but introduction should be completed before then.

Skills

There are absolutely no requirements, but it is a bonus if you:

• Have skills related to epilepsy, TAKK, and/or CPR
• Have worked with children and youth
• Can navigate a blue/red ski slope, can cycle, and have boating experience
• Have a driver's license
• Have worked in some type of LSS activity
