Lycksele Hospital is a small and well-equipped acute hospital, and we are now looking for a nurse for the Medical Center of Southern Lapland and the Rehab/Stroke Department.

We maintain close cooperation with primary and emergency care throughout Southern Lapland. By working at a smaller hospital, you will be part of a strong community, competence, and drive. In the Rehab/Stroke Department, there are 16 beds within the stroke unit, orthopedic, and general rehabilitation. The staff works in well-functioning teams consisting of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, speech therapists, and dietitians. There is a good sense of community and a positive atmosphere in the workgroup!

Our employees in the department work in a working time model 1, which means a reduction in working hours to allow more time for recovery.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure.

You participate in the care and medical management of the patient in close collaboration with other professional categories in our multidisciplinary team. Your work is very varied, and you will work within stroke, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and palliative care. We are constantly working to develop care, where our clinical vision reflects our work - Soft hands, sharp minds, warm hearts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in stroke and rehabilitation care. Even if you are in the last semester of the nursing program, you are warmly welcome to apply. We also offer study salary during the last month of your education.

We want you to be engaged, responsible, and have a strong team spirit, seeing opportunities and solutions as you play an important role in our team. You have the ability to prioritize between different tasks. The work requires that you have good collaboration skills and high flexibility. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
