About us

We are one of Stockholm's 11 district administrations and have our office in the Slakthus area near Globen. The Department of Individuals and Families consists of four areas, where Children and Youth - Reception, investigation, and family law Southeast is one of them. We work to provide the right support and interventions for children, young people, and their families through several specialized units.

With us, you will meet competent and committed colleagues, experienced and present managers, and a culture where we support and develop each other. We are about 89 employees, of whom 72 are social workers. We work systematically, focus on the best interests of the child, and always strive to improve our working methods.

Your role

As a social worker in our team, you will have a meaningful assignment where you:

• Investigate and follow up on interventions according to SoL and LVU.
• Work closely with children, families, and their networks to find long-term solutions.
• Use evidence-based methods and assessment instruments such as iRisk and EARL.
• Be part of the unit's development through experience exchange and reflection.

We place great importance on good reception and a professional approach and actively work to create a safe and learning work environment.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who:

• Have a degree in social work.
• Have a genuine interest in investigation work and follow-up of interventions.
• See networking as a natural part of successful social work.
• Are a skilled communicator and have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience of authority exercise within children and youth.
• Knowledge of methods such as iRisk, EARL, SAVRY, ADAD, and Signs of Safety.
• Deeper insight into social legislation.

• Have good communication skills and a genuine interest in helping people.
• Are confident in making assessments and decisions – even in difficult situations.
• Are structured and find it easy to organize your work.

Enskede Årsta Vantör is one of 11 district administrations in the City of Stockholm.
