We are now looking for a Project Manager for our factory in Eslöv. As a Project Manager with us, you will be part of our team of Project Managers and report to the Acting Quality Manager.

About the company

At Saint-Gobain Sekurit in Eslöv, we are part of the French group Saint-Gobain and we are a leading supplier of glass to the automotive industry! We produce innovative glass products that enhance the experience, safety, and sustainability of vehicles. Our main products are Tempered and Laminated side windows, and we also have a production department that works on complementing windshields and rear windows with components that can be used as support for other elements such as cameras and sensors. Our vision is “Make every drive a great experience.” At the Eslöv factory, we employ about 280 people.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will work 25% as a Resident Engineer and 75% in Projects.

As a project manager, you will have overall responsibility for assigned projects regarding technology, quality requirements, planning, financial follow-up, and documentation. Projects may be directly with end customers or with one of our sister companies, where you will investigate customer wishes and propose suitable solutions. You will coordinate and drive internal development between relevant departments to ensure that projects proceed according to the established timeline. You will work in an international organization.

The role also includes:

• Supporting the development of the project department's documentation and management, including work with customer portals and specifications
• Maintaining E-tool and Stage Gate for Volvo projects together with KAM
• Responsible for SAP sales-related topics
• Responsible for purchase requisitions and sales orders

In the role of Resident Engineer, you will regularly participate in planning meetings with Volvo for about 2 hours per week, and in case of escalation, attendance at Volvo is required. You will perform the initial assessment of defects and provide complete information to colleagues at Sekurit to solve the problems. You will support the customer in monitoring and coordinating rework and/or sorting activities. Since the role works closely with Volvo in Torslanda, you need to be flexible and able to travel.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Engineering degree
• Experience in project management and customer development processes
• Fluent English
• Knowledge in communication technology
• Microsoft Office, PLM, SAP

Other

The role requires that you have the ability to be present both in Eslöv and Torslanda when necessary. Therefore, it is possible to be based either in Gothenburg and travel to Eslöv when required or vice versa.
