We are in an exciting phase of destination development. We are now looking for a Visitor Industry Coordinator who wants to be an operational key player in strengthening the municipality's attractiveness as part of the Stockholm archipelago and Roslagen.

Job Description

As a Visitor Industry Coordinator, you will be a key person in our efforts to enhance Norrtälje's attractiveness as part of the Stockholm archipelago and Roslagen. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Drive operational activities related to the action plan for destination development
• Build networks and create engagement through dialogue and collaboration, both digitally and physically
• Coordinate efforts and create opportunities for collaboration among stakeholders in the visitor industry, both locally and nationally
• Work on the implementation of the Roslagen brand and ensure it permeates efforts in destination development
• Be part of our destination development team, located within the business unit

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in destination development, place development, and/or event development
• Good local knowledge of Norrtälje, Roslagen, and the Stockholm archipelago, or a strong desire to learn about the area
• Experience in implementing brand strategies, preferably focusing on place branding
• Previous experience in driving collaboration among various stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, both in Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form
• Familiarity with digital tools and the office suite
• A valid driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in working with the attractiveness of places – for example, to attract more visitors, residents, or businesses to the area
• The ability to visualize and develop ideas that strengthen a place's identity and brand
• Experience in event development and storytelling related to places
