Do you want to be part of a team where quality, individualized support, and self-determination are in focus? We are looking for support pedagogues who want to work in our new service housing according to LSS and contribute to a meaningful and safe everyday life for our residents. You will work based on the individual's needs and conditions to create a good quality of life, independence, and participation in society.

Job Description

In the role of support pedagogue at the LSS service housing, you will start from the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in everyday life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with your colleagues, you will work towards making everyday life meaningful and rich in content for the individual.

An important part of the job is to help the individual with structure and routines in everyday life and to support and motivate the resident to develop their abilities. The interventions include personal care, meals, medication management through medication delegation, cleaning, and maintaining social contacts and relationships. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working with clarifying pedagogy, alternative augmentative communication, and low-arousal responses is central.

The work at the service housing is primarily based on the legislation LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) and HSL (Health and Medical Services Act).

Qualifications

You are an educated support pedagogue or have other relevant education that the employer assesses as equivalent. It is highly meritorious to have experience working with individuals with diagnoses within NPF and IF with additional issues in psychiatric areas. It is also meritorious if you have previously worked in the operational system Lifecare.

A driver's license is required.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Scope: Full-time, daytime, evenings, and weekends as well as sleeping on-call.
