We are now looking for a Unit Manager for Health and Medical Services at Vardaga Villa Idun with a permanent position and 100% employment rate. The position includes 20% administrative time and the remaining 80% as a nurse in care. You will be part of the management team and contribute to the improvement work within the organization. About the role

You are the spider in the web regarding the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations.

Collaboration and support

You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. You work closely with the group leaders responsible for the care staff. Our group leaders also coach and work together with the teams in daily operations.

Active leadership

To succeed as a manager and leader with us, an active leadership based on our values is required. A leadership that creates motivation and engagement among our employees. You will, among other things, lead other nurses in daily work, follow up with development conversations, salary discussions, and rehab conversations. You are proactive and attentive to the needs of the residents and have a natural respect for other people. It is obvious that you, as a Unit Manager, live our values:

Villa Idun is located in a new and well-planned residential area in Enköping, about 35 minutes from Stockholm, with proximity to community services, transportation, and city life, but also to nature. Just a stone's throw away is the train station in Enköping – which is sometimes called "Sweden's closest city".

Both permanent and short-term places

Villa Idun offers places for the elderly with dementia and care places. In addition to permanent accommodation, there are short-term accommodations available.

Your experience and knowledge

• You are a licensed nurse and have experience in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-sick, and it requires that you have both comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person.

Merit is previous leadership experience.

All managers undergo our leadership program where you will have the opportunity to develop within leadership through our training organization, Lära. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
