Site Manager at BDX in Kiruna

We are excited that you are interested in working with us! We are investing in Malmfälten and developing our operations, and therefore we are looking for site managers who want to join us on the journey and lay the foundation for a sustainable community in Kiruna.

What does a site manager do at BDX?

The role is aimed at smaller contracting projects, and as a site manager, you will work closely with the project manager to ensure that contracts and agreements are adhered to with the customer. The role is broad and involves responsibility for management, coordination, finance, and follow-up together with the production manager. The work also includes resource and production planning, quality, and occupational health and safety issues. Furthermore, you will plan the daily progress of production while enjoying motivating, creating job satisfaction, and developing our team so that we can together achieve set goals!

Your main tasks include:

• Planning, leading, and distributing tasks towards the project's goals.
• Participating in daily production management on-site regarding time, quality, work environment, and cost.
• Ensuring that assigned occupational health and safety tasks are followed and that work is performed according to applicable regulations.
• Coordinating resources on assigned projects together with other colleagues.
• Daily documentation of deviations and issues.
• Participating in inspections and meetings.
• Participating in the establishment and implementation of work preparations.

We are looking for someone who will work closely with our traffic management, and as a person, you should be different from us because we believe that diversity makes us stronger, but you need to share the same positive attitude towards work. Of course, it is teamwork – everyone in the project works towards the same goal; to execute the project in the best way.

What qualifications do I need to be considered?

• Basic computer skills.
• Education at the high school level or other education deemed equivalent.
• Driver's license B.
• You have experience in production work within industry or civil engineering.
• Experience in fiber/cable laying/surveying is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.

Other important information

Work location: Kiruna, travel with overnight stays may occur in the position.

Employment type: Permanent employment, probationary employment will be applied.

Working hours: Daytime, Monday to Friday.
