Your mission as a Road Worker

In the role of road worker, your main task will be operations and maintenance-related work concerning summer and winter maintenance. You will inspect the road network in the area and report any deficiencies and address them. In winter, the focus will be on plowing, snow removal, and ice prevention. In addition, you will work on smaller construction tasks, sign adjustments, repairing guardrails, and TMA driving. The position includes summer and winter preparedness. You will be supported by management and engaged colleagues. Using digital tools daily to document your work is something you see as a given. The position is a permanent full-time employment that starts with a 6-month probationary period.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in roads and maintenance who has:

• Good experience in road maintenance operations, operations and maintenance, or construction activities
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
• Driving license B.

We believe you are a self-reliant person who can make your own decisions as you are creatively inclined with a solution-focused mindset. You are driven by challenges and motivated to achieve set goals. You enjoy having your own responsibility and tasks with a high degree of freedom. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills with both internal and external colleagues. It is an advantage if you have a driving license C and YKB.

Many municipalities, private companies, and road associations hire us to take care of their roads and outdoor environments.
