JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a project manager, you will work with the entire construction process, from planning to construction and finally handover. You will work on various types of projects, with varying focus and size. We offer you the chance to contribute to Luleå's development through large community building projects such as:

You have financial responsibility for the execution of your projects and follow up against set goals. The work involves making decisions on actions within the project's framework and ensuring that requirements are met according to the regulations governing the implementation of our projects. You will collaborate closely with our internal specialists, external consultants, and contractors.

In the role of project manager, you will also work as a technical expert within your area of expertise and handle procurement of design consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a technical education at the university/college level or other education with experience deemed equivalent. You have several years of experience in areas such as contracting, as a client and/or in the consulting industry, preferably as a project manager/construction manager/project leader or similar with knowledge of project economics.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU), procurement within contracts, contract law including AB, ABT, and ABK. It is also beneficial if you have experience with green infrastructure and have experience from inspections of land facilities and/or are a certified inspector for outdoor environments.

We would like you to have experience as BAS P/U.

As a project manager, you are expected to be skilled at prioritizing and working systematically, taking initiative, and achieving results. You have a good ability to lead others, collaborate, and create good relationships. An important part of the work is dialogue and consultation with relevant stakeholders. Therefore, we see you as trustworthy, clear, and possessing good communication skills in both speech and writing.

You are open to learning new things, driven by the desire to develop, and tackle complex challenges in new ways, being solution-oriented.
