Site Manager at BDX in Gällivare

We are excited that you are interested in working with us! We are investing in Malmfälten and developing our operations, and therefore we are looking for site managers who want to join us on this journey and lay the foundation for a sustainable community in Gällivare.

What does a site manager do at BDX?

In this role, you will focus on smaller contracting projects, and as a site manager, you will work closely with the project manager to ensure that contracts and agreements are adhered to with the customer. The role is broad and involves responsibility for management, coordination, finances, and follow-up together with the project manager. The work also includes resource and production planning, quality, and work environment issues. Furthermore, you will plan the daily progress of production while enjoying motivating, creating job satisfaction, and developing our team so that we together achieve set goals!

Your main tasks are:

• Planning, leading, and distributing tasks towards the project's goals.
• Participating in daily production management on-site regarding time, quality, work environment, and cost.
• Ensuring that assigned work environment tasks are adhered to and that the work is carried out according to applicable regulations.
• Coordinating resources on assigned projects together with other colleagues.
• Daily documentation of deviations and questions.
• Participating in inspections and meetings.
• Participating in the establishment and implementation of work preparations.

Of course, it is teamwork - everyone in the project works towards the same goal; to execute the project in the best possible way.

What qualifications do I need to be considered?

• Education at the high school level or other education deemed equivalent.
• Driver's license B.
• You have experience in production work within industry or civil engineering.
• Experience in fiber/cable laying/pipe laying/surveying is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.

Other important information

Work location: Gällivare, travel with overnight stays may occur in the position.

Employment type: Permanent employment, probationary employment will be applied.

Working hours: Daytime, Monday to Friday.
