Excavator Operator Wanted at NYAB Infrastructure

Information about the position

NYAB is a young company built on decades of experience from the industry. Over the years, NYAB has completed hundreds of projects and large-scale construction work. NYAB continues to expand rapidly and now needs to strengthen the team with excavator operators!

Of course, you will initially receive an introduction to get into the company and the role in the best possible way. Together with your immediate supervisor, you will create a joint plan for a suitable onboarding process. You will work full-time during the peak season from May to November 2025 with good opportunities for further employment at NYAB, provided that both parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Job Responsibilities

As an excavator operator at NYAB, you will have a varied everyday life where you work on exciting projects at the company's clients. You will work with:

• Excavation work for foundations
• Paving
• Adjustments for asphalting

Job tasks may vary depending on the current project and will primarily take place outdoors. Of course, you will have access to a company car to easily get to the various projects. You will mainly work daytime Mon-Fri 07-16, but there may also be weekend and evening work.

We are looking for you who

For the position of excavator operator at NYAB, we are looking for someone who:

• Has previous work experience or education in excavation/construction (for example, water and sewage, paving, and/or stone setting)
• Has a B driver's license
• Master Swedish in speech and writing

We also believe that your personal qualities are important for how you will thrive in the role of excavator operator at NYAB. We see that you are an initiative-taking person who is ready to develop within the excavation industry. It comes naturally to you to collaborate with others, but you are also comfortable working independently.

It is also advantageous if you have experience in reading blueprints and hold Work on the Road and Safe Construction certifications, but this is not a requirement for the position.
