Project Manager Railway Planning Norrbotniabanan Luleå

Responsibilities

As a project manager for railway planning, you will be part of a team that leads large and extensive railway plans concerning time, cost, content, and risks. You will build an organization where you are responsible for leading, managing, and following up on the work of developing, delivering, and ensuring the quality of the railway plan product, including the formal process with the outside world to ensure a legally binding railway plan. You will also be responsible for external contacts with the public, municipalities, and other stakeholders. The work includes communicating and building trust with both individuals and groups, both internally and externally.

In projects of this magnitude, you will have a role that requires leadership, communication, and coordination, as well as good order and structure. You are a key person in the organization who gets to lead, coach, and develop your project team. You are responsible for the overall management of the project and are a representative both externally and internally.

Qualifications

You have excellent and clear leadership that creates a results-oriented environment. You have a good ability to communicate and build trust with both individuals and groups. You also have good problem-solving and collaboration skills and work to find solutions. You are accustomed to collaborating with relevant stakeholders and suppliers to ensure goal fulfillment and good business practices. We also see that you have a good ability to plan and structure to create feasible plans. You are motivated by active employee participation, where you responsibly take charge of your tasks while being aware of how you are part of and contribute to the whole by collaborating with others.

We are looking for you who

• have a university or college education of at least 180 credits with a technical focus or other education combined with experience we consider equivalent
• have several years of relevant experience as a project manager or in a similar leading role involving design assignments within railway or road
• have current and relevant work experience of being responsible for budget and financial follow-up
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• have a driver's license for passenger cars

It is meritorious if you

• have experience in planning railway or road
• have experience working with railway projects
• have knowledge in consulting law
