At Zätagränds Health Center, we are a dedicated team with high job satisfaction, where we care for each other and work solution-focused towards common goals. We have about 12,450 registered patients and are a popular health center located in central Östersund. Our team includes general practitioners, ST doctors, AT doctors, dietitians, diabetes and district nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, MVC, BVC, and rehabilitation coordinators. We also have a family center.

We need to expand our staffing with competent specialists in general medicine due to our reduced area responsibility and our growing group of doctors with several training doctors. A good working environment and educational environment are of utmost importance to us.

Right now, many exciting developments are taking place in primary care. We are improving digital technology in healthcare and finding new ways to meet patients' needs. One of our ST doctors is involved in research and teaches at the medical program. We also have an interesting project with a dietitian and BVC, and we work with frail elderly and Close Care. Development and further education are important to us, and several doctors use speech recognition.

You will work with competent colleagues with extensive experience from many professions. We focus heavily on the work environment and Close Care, and as part of this, we work with reduced patient lists. Instead of 1600 patients per full-time physician, you will be responsible for 1250 patients if you work full-time without side assignments. If you have side assignments or work part-time, your area will be reduced, which means we have a listing cap. Our district nurses also have area responsibility, which means you will work closely together. We have stable professional groups at Zätagränd where innovation blends with experience, and teamwork is highly valued. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a general practitioner or specialist in general medicine who wants to help develop our health center. You are a person who sees opportunities and promotes a positive work climate and strong team spirit.

Zätagränd is responsible for two special accommodations and has a large family center with a well-functioning maternal and child health care staffed with very competent personnel.

We hold a doctor’s meeting for one hour per week and offer regular further education in the form of five training days per year. These days contribute to creating a strong general medical community in the region. In addition, a place in the FQ group for further education and reflection in a group is offered five days a year. Occasional on-call shifts are included in the job. The Primary Care area has the status of a university hospital unit, and teaching, supervision, and training of medical students at Umeå University is part of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed general practitioner/specialist in general medicine. Own research and research supervision are meritorious but not a formal requirement for the position.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, especially the ability to collaborate and communicate.

OTHER

Primary care is a healthcare unit within the region's health and medical care administration, where higher education for medical degrees and research is conducted. This means that all applicants must be assessed by the Research and Development responsible before any employment. As a result, the application must include the following accompanying documents:

• A structured CV
• Certificate of medical degree from the institution(s) where the doctor completed their basic education. This applies to doctors educated in another EU country and in countries outside the EU.
• License certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Specialist competence certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Certificate/documentation of teaching experience and possibly other pedagogical merits.
• If applicable, a certificate of academic degree, such as Doctor of Medicine or docent, as well as the date of disputation and title of the dissertation.
• Documented supervisor training
• If applicable, a complete updated publication list.
• Possibly further documented merit regarding clinical knowledge/experience, clinical development work, leadership experience, and anything else the applicant wishes to highlight as meritorious for the sought position.
