Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone with a heart for patients who wants to work as a midwife in primary care. At the midwifery clinic, we offer maternity care during pregnancy as well as childbirth and parenting preparation courses. We provide both telephone advice and in-person meetings.

You will have your own clinic and work in dialogue with other staff such as doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, and physiotherapists.

The work as a midwife involves being responsible for pregnancy check-ups, sexual and contraceptive counseling, gynecological health checks, prescribing contraceptives, and taking cervical samples. The midwife is also responsible for testing for suspected sexually transmitted infections and tracking potential sexual transmission.

You work to achieve good care in daily operations and contribute to high patient safety, accessibility, and quality of care, as well as a good reception for our patients.

Information

The position is a temporary contract with a working percentage according to agreement, where 60% is a guideline for the midwife role. The position can be combined with a nursing role during other hours.

Start date from May or according to agreement.
