Job Coach Needed for Employment Preparation Activities;

Conexi runs employment preparation activities for adults on the autism spectrum, including in collaboration with IKEA. The focus is on individual development and the opportunity for independence. We now need to expand our team and are looking for a job coach for our operations in Västerås.

Your tasks will include mapping the resources and needs of the employees to find suitable work tasks. The position also involves mapping work tasks for employees at IKEA. The goal is to create strategies and tools for a developing and independent working life. You will also seek new business placements in the labor market and map those as well. The work is carried out based on the individual's wishes and needs, which requires the ability to adapt and change continuously.

The operations are conducted at IKEA Västerås and at other business placements in the labor market. As a job coach, you will work together with the employees and IKEA staff, as well as with staff at the workplace where the employee is placed. A strong focus is placed on individual development and the opportunity for independence. All work is individually tailored. We actively work together with evaluation, goal follow-up, and a clear vision for the future.

Qualifications for the position:

Experience with autism spectrum disorders.

Education as an occupational therapist, social worker, educator, or other equivalent higher education.

Experience in implementing interventions with the target group within neuropsychiatric diagnoses is an advantage.

You need to be proficient in documentation in digital systems and working with the Office suite.

Driver's license B

You have the ability to plan and carry out your work independently but in collaboration with employees, IKEA, the business community, and authorities. You are motivated by working in processes, working towards set goals, and contributing to people's development. As a person, you are proactive, independent, solution-focused, and responsible.

Working hours/Duration

Permanent position with immediate start.

Full-time 100% daytime - Monday to Friday.
