Your Responsibilities

You will assist your customers with personal care and support at home. You will also contribute to their well-being by encouraging an active and independent lifestyle. The work is physically active and involves many movements throughout your workday. It is important that you have good basic fitness and mobility. We cycle to and from our customers, regardless of the weather, and to ensure a safe working environment, we use helmets.

Through your regular visits, you will build a close and trusting relationship with each customer. Documentation is an important part of the job, and you will also act as a link between the customer and their relatives or other important people in their lives.

Your Qualifications

You should have a certified nursing assistant education, caregiver training, or equivalent experience deemed relevant for the position. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as documentation and communication are central to the work. With your confidence and sense of service, along with a genuine interest and commitment, you provide the best possible care and support to the people we help. You appreciate a job where you sometimes need to prioritize and assist where it is most needed. Experience in home care or similar is an advantage.

There may be pets in your customers' homes, so you need to feel comfortable in homes with animals such as dogs and cats. You should not have allergies that cannot be managed with medication.

To work in home care, you must be able to cycle in all weather conditions. To work in rural areas and for night and emergency alarms, you need to have a B driver's license.

Practical Information

If you proceed after the initial selection, it is mandatory to submit a video interview where you answer a few short interview questions. We are looking for employees for day, evening, and night shifts.

Before you can be hired, you need to present a valid extract from the police record.

To be employed as a nursing assistant, you must present proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare. If you were permanently employed as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, you can instead present an employer certificate from your employer.

Our home care services are divided into the areas of Väster, Centrum Norr, Öster, and Rural areas, as well as Night and Emergency Alarms. All our workplaces are tobacco-free.

In this recruitment, we apply a probationary employment as job offers will be processed more quickly than usual due to many new customers coming to us.

Additional Information

During the interview, you will need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
