Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are looking for a nurse who wants to be part of our team at Samariterhemmet Health Center. We offer a permanent full-time position with start date according to agreement.

Your mission

The tasks mainly involve your own reception with investigation, education, and follow-up of asthma/COPD/allergy patients, as well as telephone advice and work in the 1177 services. You will collaborate closely with our asthma/COPD/allergy responsible physician. We actively work to improve patient flows through triage and booking to all professions.

Your competence

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or district nurse, preferably with education in and experience of the asthma/COPD field. Previous experience from primary care is considered an advantage.

You need to be flexible in your working method, positive about teamwork, and enjoy taking overall responsibility as well as having a strong desire to develop the operations.

Our operations

Samariterhemmet Health Center is located in the heart of Uppsala, just a stone's throw from the Travel Center. Our health center is a large operation with 14,000 registered patients. Together we are over 70 employees, and all professional areas within the health center's mission are represented. The wide variety of patients creates a developing workplace.

Since 2019, we have been an academic health center. An academic health center has essentially the same mission as other health centers and offers its patients the same care as before. What differs is that we have employees who are also researchers and work with development projects and education, including quality assurance and development of clinical practice-based education. In addition to regular staff, there are also clinical pharmacists, university lecturers, and clinical adjuncts. We invest in secure employment and good benefits through our collective agreement.
