The Rehabilitation Unit consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation assistants who work with special housing, home care, short-term units, and individuals over 18 who cannot reach a health center or need assistive devices prescribed at home.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physiotherapist in Köpings municipality, you primarily work clinically where you independently and in teams assess and perform functional, treatment, training interventions, and prescribe assistive devices for our patients. You design and follow up on individual rehabilitation plans and contribute your expertise in meetings with our patients.

You work closely with other professionals in health and medical care to provide safe and secure care. You start from shared office spaces that contribute to proximity and community with colleagues. Our future tasks will involve further focus on preventive measures for our patients as well as the transition to a more integrated care.

Starting in 2025, physiotherapists will offer fall prevention interventions to individuals who have received emergency alarms and physical activities at our meeting places.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. Experience working as a physiotherapist within municipal health and medical care is meritorious but not a requirement. We look forward to your skills and knowledge regardless of whether you have several years of experience in the profession or come directly from your studies.

When you start with us, you will receive a mentor who supports you to ensure a good start, and we offer individual introduction for those who are newly graduated or new to their professional role.

We use computers and IT systems as work tools, so good computer skills are a prerequisite for daily work, as well as the ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. A valid driver's license is required as driving is part of the job responsibilities.
