The role of Nurse with us

You now have the opportunity to become a staff member in the on-call operations, which is a varied and interesting assignment delivering medical interventions to patients enrolled in home healthcare. Home healthcare has a broad mission where we offer municipal health and medical care ranging from child services to elderly care. This includes medical interventions that can be performed in a home environment, which do not require inpatient care. The interventions may include managing bag dialysis, dressing a night machine for dialysis, connecting TPN, refilling pain pumps, medication injections, palliative care-pain relief, assessing health changes.

The work is scheduled for night shifts with some evening shifts. In the evening, you will work with five colleagues, and at night, you will work with two colleagues. Together, you will plan the interventions that are scheduled in the intervention calendar. You will also handle unplanned interventions that come from care staff within home care and nursing homes. Consultation with them takes place via a digital platform, TeleQ. You will manage incoming requests with advice or the option to go on home visits for assessment/action of various health conditions. You will also be responsible for delegating care staff at different delegation levels for health and medical care interventions. You will receive medical support for your assessments via Hallandsjouren.

Your profile

As a person, you are relationship-building, independent, and have a professional approach. You carry out your assignment from a person-centered perspective and are accommodating and responsive in your interactions with both patients and other staff groups.

You adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You take your own initiatives and come up with new solutions to work-related issues. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed nurse
• hold a B driver's license

It is advantageous if you have:

• experience in home healthcare
• experience in night work

Our offer and other information

We offer a permanent position at 74.76% with the possibility of full-time starting on May 12 or by agreement. Working hours are generally between 15:30 – 22:00/23:00 or 21:15-07:15 with flexible working hours. The full-time measure is 34.33 hours/week. You work every third weekend.
