About the job

We are now looking for a nurse for our beautiful children's emergency department who enjoys a challenging job where no day is the same. The work pace in the children's emergency department is varied, and children and adolescents aged 0-18 come here for care either via referral, ambulance, or through the emergency entrance.

In the children's emergency department, we work with triage, which means that we meet all children and adolescents seeking care in the emergency department, and thereafter they are assigned to a clinic, and we treat the pediatric patients.

The Children's Emergency Department in Halmstad is part of the Emergency Department and Halland Hospital. Here, nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors work together. We are an engaged and driven team that collaborates closely. This means that there is a significant exchange of knowledge between professions, and you will have the opportunity to both contribute and develop. Moreover, we always have a good laugh!

About you

We are looking for a licensed nurse, and a specialization in pediatric and adolescent care is an advantage. We would prefer you to have a few years of experience as a nurse, but this is not a requirement. We have great opportunities to mentor you with experienced colleagues and through a foundation year.

Your flexibility should be high as we provide emergency care, and you should be able to plan and prioritize your work and have a good ability to work in a team, although there will also be solo work.

We value that you are meticulous, positive, and have good collaborative skills, enjoy taking responsibility, and are willing to take on new challenges. We place great importance on personal suitability.
