Job Responsibilities

As a nurse at Mava, you will work with the care of patients with acute medical conditions requiring medical treatments, monitoring of vital parameters, and respiratory support.

You will be part of a team with doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and secretaries, where good collaboration and team spirit are in focus.

As a nurse with us, you will be involved in our interdisciplinary team, where each profession contributes its specific knowledge. Everyone's contribution is equally important! At MAVA, there is ongoing improvement work, where we together find solutions to obstacles that may be experienced in daily work.

About the Workplace

Mava is a medical emergency care unit with 20 (25) beds. The focus is on emergency care and outpatient care, according to SFÖ protocols. The purpose of protocol-driven care is to avoid admissions to inpatient care. The department also includes the specialty of gastroenterology. We currently work in four teams with one nurse and one nursing assistant in each team.

Patients primarily come from the emergency department with a focus on acute flows and short lengths of stay. Common diagnoses in the department include impaired respiratory function that may need respiratory support, infectious diseases, heart diseases, neurological conditions, intoxications, endocrine/diabetes, and patients with gastroenterological diseases.

All staff will eventually rotate between the department's different teams. Introduction and planning for this will be done individually.

We have a structured working method and strive towards common goals. Caring for each other and the patients we care for lays the foundation for a department where we thrive.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with a few years of experience in healthcare. If you lack this, we believe that the lack of experience can be compensated by a sense of responsibility, curiosity, flexibility, a desire to work in a team, and a willingness to take on new challenges. We strive to have the right person in the right place and therefore place great importance on personal suitability.
