Nurse for Combination Position at Ward 61

We are currently looking for a nurse for a combination position at Ward 61 and as an oxygen nurse at the lung clinic.

About Your Workplace

At Ward 61 Pulmonary Medicine, we care for patients with lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumothorax, lung infections, and sleep-related breathing problems. We also handle some technical equipment such as thoracic drains and bilevel.

Within the unit, both acute care and palliative care are provided. Patients come to us via the emergency department or our waiting list.

The Oxygen Clinic in Halmstad is a nurse-led clinic where you work very independently and have the opportunity to plan your work.

The Oxygen Clinic, just like Ward 61 Pulmonary Medicine, serves the entire Halland region. At the Oxygen Clinic, you are responsible for ensuring that patients, relatives, and any healthcare personnel receive information about how the oxygen treatment is conducted at the start of the treatment and perform regular follow-ups in the form of home visits. The clinic also provides advice via phone and has close collaboration with the Lung Clinic, Breathing Clinic, Ward 61 Pulmonary Medicine, and MAH (Medical Equipment at Home).

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse; we prefer that you have at least one year of professional experience. You have a genuine interest in working with people and are stimulated by challenges. An important prerequisite for everyone to thrive in the workplace is good and close collaboration among colleagues; here we expect you to be active and work towards achieving this. As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and solution-oriented. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
