About the position

We are looking for a joy-spreader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a huge passion for food and flavors. To thrive with us, it is beneficial if you occasionally enjoy a fast-paced environment, order, and structure, and want to develop and drive the business forward together with the rest of the team. You will be the right hand of the unit manager and be instrumental in creating amazing menus for our lunch and our exciting events where you will also be a key person. We want you to engage and be creative regarding issues such as food waste and plant-based alternatives, as well as have good knowledge of kitchen economics.

A typical day may include:

• Planning and creating menus
• Purchasing
• Inventory
• Setting up digital menu screens
• Managing bookings
• Responsible for food hygiene self-control programs
• Training kitchen staff
• Guest contact & service
• Handling the business's cash system
• Reporting

Together with the unit manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that we follow the company's routines, policies, and legal requirements.

Who is this multi-talented individual we are looking for?

We believe you are a food creator with at least five years of experience leading and developing staff in restaurant kitchens & dining rooms. As a person, you are driven with a strong customer focus and a positive attitude, and you have an almost magical ability to see opportunities and find different types of solutions.

Does this sound like you? Great! If you also meet the following points, we really need to have a coffee:

• At least five years of work experience as a supervisor in a restaurant environment.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• Previous experience in menu planning and administrative tasks
• Knowledge of the Office suite
• Experience in managing events and large parties in both dining rooms and kitchens
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• A solid interest and preferably knowledge of sustainability work as the restaurant is both environmentally and quality certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
