Bartender at Villa Foresta

We are now looking for a passionate and driven bartender to join our team at Villa Foresta in Lidingö.

Foresta, or Villa Foresta, as it was originally named, is the castle that entrepreneur Wilhelmina Skogh had built from 1908 to 1910, and it is about to get a new life! We are embarking on a new era with the ambition to recreate a vibrant meeting place for gastronomy, music, meetings, experiences, and a living room for all of Lidingö.

Warmth, personality, and sophistication permeate our concept - we are now looking for someone with experience in bar operations and in creating and developing bar concepts. We seek someone who loves to provide service and inspire others to do the same! Most importantly, you want to help create a lively environment for people who enjoy the good things in life.

A comprehensive renovation and reconstruction started in January - plans include a winter garden, a spa with several saunas in the castle's vaults, pools, restaurants, outdoor terraces, and bars. The renovation project is ongoing in various phases. Villa Foresta currently has 103 hotel rooms, 10 conference rooms, and several restaurants.

Your Profile

You have a passion for service and an eye for detail. You are flexible and easily find solutions while building relationships. You love guest contact and providing service; being present is natural for you. You are confident and unpretentious in your role and can spread motivation and joy at work. You also have a structured and methodical approach that contributes to seamless service for guests.

• You have previously worked in a similar position with the same responsibilities
• You are operations-oriented, a good salesperson, and find stimulating and inspiring challenges in organizing sales competitions among the team
• It’s a plus if you get involved in menu planning, such as various daily, weekly, and seasonal themes
• You have extensive knowledge of spirits in particular, but also other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and you are passionate about sharing your knowledge
• It’s a big bonus if you have experience with bar openings
• Experience with hotel systems like Protel and cash systems like Pluto is an advantage

• You have experience managing purchases and finding the best products and offers
• You have experience with scheduling and effective planning
• You are business-minded, driven to deliver results, and understand the work behind the numbers

About the Position

Your main task is to ensure that the bars at Villa Foresta contribute to our core values of pride, care, and creativity. You will be involved in creating and developing the bar concept to provide the best and highest conditions for the seamless, high-quality, and efficient service we aim for, ensuring our guests' overall experience is memorable and extraordinary.

The position is a permanent employment at 75%. The salary is according to agreement with a 6-month probation period. Annual working hours apply, and weekend and evening shifts will occur depending on needs.
