Your Mission

Nacka Senior Center is a meeting place for seniors and the municipal alternative for elderly care in Nacka Municipality.

As a cook, you, along with the team, have overall responsibility for the production and quality of the meals served at our senior centers. You prepare delicious and nutritious food based on the needs and wishes of the customer group. All food is made from scratch in the senior centers' fully equipped kitchens, primarily focusing on traditional Swedish cuisine. Special dietary needs are also accommodated for those who require it. We need substitutes during the period from June to September, with a chance for extension, and working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends between 07:30 and 18:00.

Your Experience

To be considered for the positions, the following is required:

• Experience from large kitchens with traditional Swedish food
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• You must be at least 18 years old
• Driving license B is an advantage

To be considered for the cook position, the following is also required:

• At least a high school culinary education
• Experience with self-control, HACCP is an advantage
• Experience with special diets (allergies, dietary adjustments) is an advantage

About Us

As a summer substitute, you will be employed by the Staffing and Competence Development Department, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing in our operations within care and support during short-term absences and monthly substitutes.
