We are now looking for serving staff for Villa Foresta in Lidingö.

Foresta, or Villa Foresta, which is the original name of the castle built by entrepreneur Wilhelmina Skogh between 1908-1910, is about to get a new life!

We aim to recreate a vibrant meeting place for gastronomy, music, meetings, experiences, and a living room for all of Lidingö.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in the service industry. We also welcome those with less experience but a great attitude and a willingness to learn. What you all have in common is that you enjoy providing service!

• You are positive, responsible, and caring
• You are organized and passionate
• You have some experience as a waiter, preferably from an international environment
• You enjoy working at a fast pace, are energetic and efficient
• You are curious and have a genuine presence
• You are loyal, attentive, and interested
• You must be at least 18 years old

Guests from all over the world come to Villa Foresta, and it is a requirement that you speak Swedish and English fluently. Additional languages are a plus.

Experience with the cash register system Pluto and the hotel system Protel is an advantage.

About the Role

As a waiter, you will be responsible for your own station, which includes total control and oversight of your area, from taking orders and handling cash to all service routines, and above all, ensuring that guests are well taken care of with high knowledge and engagement from your side. The routines we set up are ones you contribute to and uphold with pride. You are primarily responsible for the guests at your station but are also involved in the overall experience, ensuring they receive the service we want to provide and more. You also ensure that the guests' experience is something they remember fondly, making them want to return and recommend us to their friends and acquaintances.

You will be a good fit for the role if you care about this industry, if you are committed to providing quality and efficient service, and if you want to contribute to making others' experiences, needs, and expectations more than fulfilled. You view your task with pride, have experience in how to do things in the best and highest way, and possess solid knowledge of the products you serve. You understand what it means to be in service and enjoy when things are happening simultaneously. You recognize the importance of working together as a team and what it means to take responsibility and contribute your best. You take care of the environment you work in and care about what you leave behind.

The position is a permanent employment, either full-time or part-time. The salary is according to the agreement with a 6-month probation period. Annual working hours apply, and weekend and evening shifts will occur depending on needs.
