Job Advertisement Cook/Kitchen Assistant

We are a small Montessori preschool (22 children) beautifully located in central Vallentuna. Newly renovated pleasant premises. We have our own small kitchen.

We are looking for a kitchen assistant/cook who is eligible for employment support via AMS, such as establishment jobs, introduction jobs, new start jobs, or similar.

What we need is a person skilled in cooking who can plan and prepare lunch (Swedish home cooking) every day for 22 preschool children and 4-5 staff members. A culinary education is not necessary, but you need to have experience.

Additional tasks will include keeping the kitchen clean, following self-control regulations, ordering food supplies (Coop), and managing the budget. There is a pre-written menu to follow. There is also the possibility to work extra hours with the children's group.

You are positive and have an easy time collaborating. You will also set the table, serve food, and clear away with the children.

You should be able to speak Swedish at a basic level. We expect you to live near Vallentuna. We prefer that you do an internship with us in May – June before starting in August. Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
