Social Services in Härjedalen Municipality

The Social Services in Härjedalen Municipality has decided to introduce a new position in the organization, for which we are looking for our very own mobile social worker. In this new role, you will primarily work with authority exercises within child and family services, adult services, elderly care, disability services, and financial assistance. The workgroups value a good working environment and have a strong sense of community where everyone helps each other. Our units aim to continuously develop and improve.

The department consists of four units: Individual and Family, Assistance, Open Care, and Labor Market and Economic Assistance. You will work with authority exercises where the need is assessed as greatest.

Job Responsibilities

As a mobile social worker, you will have a salutogenic approach, maintain a holistic perspective, and focus on the individual's needs.

Handle cases within social services.
Work with preliminary assessments of reports, applications, and incoming cases from the region.
Support the various teams within the department during short illness periods to relieve your colleagues.

Guiding your work are applicable laws and regulations.

Documentation, where you need to express yourself well in writing and be accustomed to using a computer as a working tool. We investigate according to the models IBIC, Individual Needs in Center, and BBIC, Children's Needs in Center.

Our focus is to conduct good social work. For us, this means creating investigation processes that are beneficial for individuals' change work. When there is a need for interventions, these are offered as far as possible in Härjedalen.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Degree in Social Work.
Previous experience in authority exercises according to the Social Services Act.
Work experience in authority exercises within various areas of social services.
Valid driver's license (B).
Good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing and be well acquainted with the Swedish language.

Meritorious:

Training in ASI, FREDA, BBIC, IBIC, Signs of Safety.
Experience with the IT support Viva.
Speaking more languages than Swedish and English.

Härjedalen Municipality is part of the Sami administrative area. If you meet our other competency requirements and also speak Sami, Härjedalska, and/or Jämtland dialect, it is meritorious.
