Social Worker for the Adult Unit
We are now looking for a social worker for a permanent position at the Adult Unit. Interviews will be conducted as soon as possible, even if the application period has not yet expired.
The unit consists of two teams, one of which investigates interventions related to substance abuse, and the other team focuses on interventions related to domestic violence. The unit is organizationally part of the Children and Adults sector within the Social and Labor Market Administration.
We are now seeking a social worker with a focus on substance abuse, but it is important to have the ability to work with the target groups for the entire unit as the teams need to support each other.
The unit handles authority exercises with the main task of investigating and making decisions regarding interventions related to substance abuse care according to SoL and LVM. We also investigate applications from adults seeking contact persons and handle reports of concern for individuals over 18 years old.
The investigative work is primarily conducted independently but in close collaboration with the Child and Family Unit and other parts of the social services, as well as the region and police.
Your New Job
As a social worker in the Adult Unit, you will meet individuals in vulnerable life situations with varying issues. As a social worker, you use yourself as a tool by building relationships and working motivationally. You investigate with the support of ASI and conduct investigations and make decisions according to both SoL and LVM. You have a large degree of autonomy and significant opportunities to make a difference for a citizen.
Working hours are between 8 AM and 5 PM, and tasks vary throughout the day. You need to be able to adapt when the day's work does not go as planned and prioritize what needs to be done first in sometimes stressful situations.
The work is interesting, challenging, and multifaceted for those who are stimulated by facing complex situations and challenges that require problem-solving and collaboration.

Your Competence
Requirements
- You have a degree in social work
- You have good computer skills
- You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- You have a valid driver's license B
Meritorious
- You have experience with the target group
- You have training in ASI.
- You have knowledge of current legislation
- You have experience in authority exercises
- You have experience collaborating with external actors
- It is an advantage if you have worked in the operational system Viva
- Good knowledge of social services laws
- Good knowledge of LVM
