Property Manager for Commercial Properties

Are you interested in a role where you can make a difference in a socially important organization? Do you enjoy daily contact with customers and colleagues while delivering top-notch service? We are now looking for an experienced and customer-oriented property manager for our commercial properties division.

About Us

At Alingsåshem, we are about 75 employees who together develop and manage preschools, schools, recreational facilities, commercial premises, cultural buildings, and 3,400 residential units. We believe in being much more than a property company. We want to be the company that offers attractive, sustainable living environments where the home or premises is one of many important parts.

Job Description

In the role of property manager for commercial properties, you will have a central role in our organization where you will have the opportunity to take overall responsibility within your area, with financial responsibility for a number of properties, always with the tenant in focus.

This means that you will plan and conduct comprehensive inspections and maintenance assessments, as well as establish and revise maintenance plans. You will analyze maintenance needs, drive ongoing maintenance, and ensure that regulatory inspections and statutory controls are carried out so that the properties develop according to technical and economic goals. Your responsibilities include both revenue and cost budgets, and you will report to the head of the commercial properties division. You will have extensive contact and close collaboration with both customers and colleagues.

As a property manager, you will be part of the commercial properties department, where you and your colleagues, property technicians, and property managers work together to achieve the organization's goals in close collaboration with the head of the commercial properties division.

Our properties encompass a wide range of building years and construction techniques. We own and manage everything from Alingsås Museum, care homes, preschools, and schools to Nolhaga Parkbad and Alingsås Rescue Station, which also implies a breadth in the management assignment.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to both the customer and the properties and their development. You are a trained property manager or have at least five years of work experience in a similar role that compensates for formal education. You also have knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU). We expect you to have good knowledge of property economics, budget responsibility, property and rental law, as well as experience working digitally in various systems.

Since you will be communicating daily with our tenants, very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing is a requirement.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. As you plan and manage your day, you are self-driven, structured, and capable of solving problems and making decisions. You are a secure person with personal maturity, a positive attitude, and good collaboration skills. You are communicative and always strive for an open and trusting relationship with our tenants, where proactivity and feedback are important parts. A valid driver's license (B) is required.

We Offer You

Alingsåshem offers you a meaningful and developing job in a socially important organization. We offer good working conditions and opportunities for continuous learning in a varied environment. We are convinced that engaged employees create a pleasant workplace and results.

We offer several benefits to contribute to a sustainable work life and to help our employees maintain a balance between work and leisure. For example, we work with health-promoting measures and offer both training during work hours and wellness grants. We also believe it should be easy to combine work and parenthood, for example through flexible working hours and the possibility to work remotely.

Contact

In this recruitment, we are collaborating with Jefferson Wells. For more information about the position, please contact the responsible recruitment consultant Eva Ekdahl at eva.ekdahl@jeffersonwells.se (mailto:eva.ekdahl@jeffersonwells.se).

The position is a permanent employment at 100%. Start date as soon as possible by agreement. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday with flexible hours, and on-call duty is included in the position. A probationary period may apply. Since we operate in the preschool/school sector, a valid extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.

Warm welcome to submit your application by April 20th.
