The health center located in the archipelago municipality of Valdemarsvik, situated between Norrköping and Västervik, is now recruiting a nurse/district nurse.

We are responsible for approximately 6,600 registered patients, and during the summer months, the population triples as Valdemarsvik is a popular holiday destination.

Job Description

We are looking for a nurse to our wonderful team. We offer a stimulating, independent, and varied job in primary care where you meet patients of all ages. The position is located at the elderly reception where you are responsible for your own registered population, elderly people with complex care needs where coordination is required. It may be relevant to work with telephone advice for a certain percentage of the position. We prefer that you have experience and are comfortable with independent work while having the ability to switch to teamwork with other professionals such as nursing assistants and doctors.

About You

You are a licensed nurse/ district nurse.

As you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and a pleasant demeanor towards patients and colleagues. You are clear in your communication, flexible, and quality-conscious. Furthermore, you feel secure in your professional role, and working at a fast pace at times is not a problem. We are looking for someone who easily adapts to changing circumstances and has a positive view of change and development work. You take responsibility for your tasks and have the ability to make your own decisions based on your profession. We place great importance on personal suitability.
