The rehab group is part of Movement and Health, which is included in the Central Primary Care (NSC) and is located at the University Hospital in Linköping. The unit consists of 32 employees, including 14 occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers. The unit's mission includes investigative and rehabilitative efforts in the neurology clinic, acute internal medicine clinic, emergency department, and primary care clinic/LAH and geriatric acute care clinic.

Job Description

As an occupational therapist in inpatient care, you will work with assessment and rehabilitation of elderly patients with multiple illnesses or patients with neurological diseases admitted to GAVA (geriatric acute care unit), AIM (acute internal medicine unit), or the neurology clinic. Home visits are also conducted within the primary care clinic/LAH.

As an occupational therapist, you are responsible for mapping the patient's previous activity ability and home situation, as well as assessing current activity ability and cognitive function. You are part of a multidisciplinary team around the patient where a person-centered and rehabilitative approach is central.

Work Group

Teamwork is an important part of gaining a comprehensive view of the patient's situation and being able to implement individualized interventions where the patient is involved and ensure a safe discharge.

About You

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. We prefer that you have experience in inpatient rehabilitation and/or home rehabilitation. You should have good collaboration skills and an interest in working in a team.
