As an Area Sales Manager
at Svenska Närko, you will have an independent role where you are responsible for sales and long-term customer relationships in your district, which includes Skåne, Blekinge, Småland, and south of Gothenburg. In this role, it is crucial that you have the ability to understand customers' needs and to design tailored solutions that not only meet their expectations but exceed them. By acting as an advisory partner, you help customers find the best solutions for their businesses and thus build long-term collaborations based on trust.
You have the freedom to plan your days and travels independently, making this role perfect for you who thrive with freedom under responsibility and have a strong ability to organize and prioritize your work.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting and conducting new customer outreach through customer visits
- Maintaining and further developing existing customer relationships and collaborations with resellers.
- Responsible for calculations, quotes, business closures, and follow-ups.
- Collaborating with colleagues in production and delivery to ensure that customer expectations are not only met but exceeded.
- Working strategically with sales to identify new business opportunities.
You will report directly to the CEO and have a central role in our organization.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with experience in sales within the transport industry or related fields, such as construction, forestry, or agriculture. If you have experience in selling light vehicles and a strong drive to understand and learn about Närko's products and solutions, you could also be an excellent candidate for the position.
We would like you to:
- Have previous experience in proactive sales (B2B) and can demonstrate good results.
- Have a good technical understanding and feel comfortable working in business systems.
- Be trustworthy and have an easy time building and nurturing long-term customer relationships.
We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your ability to create trust, be solution-focused, and handle challenges professionally.
