The position is a direct recruitment, meaning the recruitment process is conducted through Futuria People, but you will be employed directly by Guard Automation in Kristianstad.

About the job

As an Automation Engineer with us, you will work on advanced automation projects within industry and critical infrastructure. You will play a key role in developing and implementing technical solutions, from PLC and SCADA programming to cyber-secure OT environments. You will work with both national and international clients, which means travel is required.

• Design and development of automation systems
• PLC and SCADA programming
• Troubleshooting, commissioning, and support in customer projects
• Integration of industrial networks and IoT solutions
• Implementation of cybersecurity in automation systems
• Project management and customer contact

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in industrial automation with a focus on process control
• Good knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems (e.g., PlantSCADA, Citect, Siemens PCS 7)
• Experience working in the field and leading your own projects
• Be open to the fact that travel will be required in the position
• Driver's license B
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• A curious and solution-oriented attitude

Preferred qualifications for the role

Experience with ABB 800xA

Knowledge in cybersecurity in OT environments

Experience with cloud-based automation, IoT, and edge computing
