The municipality is organized into an administration with four sectors. The Education Sector includes preschools and primary schools with associated school-age childcare, adapted primary school, high school, adapted upper secondary school, adult education, and Culture and Leisure.

Nösnäsgymnasiet is a school with a wide range of educational offerings, many opportunities, competence, and commitment. We offer a mix of university preparatory programs, vocational and introductory programs, as well as apprenticeship training and adapted upper secondary school. Nösnäsgymnasiet has a positive development with attractive educational programs and an increasing number of students. The school has won several awards and prizes in recent years. We successfully work with UF - Young Entrepreneurship and have won the award for School of the Year. The beautiful environment around the school with lush greenery and views over Hakefjorden is inspiring. In the central parts of the school are the administration, café, and our library, which has received the award for World-Class School Library for several years in a row. Close to the school is Stenungsund Arena, the municipality's largest sports facility with, among other things, an ice rink and swimming pool.

Do you want to be part of driving development at Nösnäsgymnasiet? We are now looking for an engaged Development Leader in Digitalization.

In this role, you will be a key person in our work to integrate digital tools and methods in teaching to improve learning and prepare our students for future challenges. You will have a central role in administering, managing, and developing our digital platforms. The position involves both operational work with daily operations, support, and troubleshooting, as well as strategic work with digitalization development in both the short and long term. In your role, you will closely collaborate with school management, IT educators, administrative staff, teachers, and the municipality's digitalization unit.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Administering, troubleshooting, and addressing integration between our various systems, such as student registers and educational learning platforms.
• Being operationally responsible for ITA-students with the municipality's IT provider (Soltak).
• Supporting and training teachers and other staff in the use of digital tools and platforms.
• Keeping updated on AI for students and staff.
• Working on preparations and ensuring technology for digital national tests.
• In consultation with the special educational network at the school, ensuring that staff and students have access to compensatory digital tools.
• Driving digitalization projects together with school management and the digitalization unit.
• Participating in the procurement of IT systems.
• Developing strategies for integrating digital technology into teaching.
• Monitoring and following digital trends and technological developments.
• Following up and evaluating the effects of digitalization efforts.
• Collaborating with school management, IT educators, teachers, the digitalization unit, and other operations in the Education Sector to ensure effective implementation of digital solutions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant education in IT, pedagogy, or other education and experience that the employer deems appropriate. We would like you to have experience in developing, managing, and administering learning and student platforms. The ability to drive projects and work independently is also important in this role. If you have previously worked in schools/education, we consider this an advantage.

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, solution-oriented, and have a well-developed technical and administrative ability. You also have a good pedagogical ability to convey complex issues in a simple way based on the target audience. Good service and a positive attitude are very important in this role, as you will have a lot of contact with staff and students at the high school, as well as with staff in other operations and suppliers. Therefore, it is very important that you see the benefit of collaborating and cooperating with other professional categories to ensure that the operations function optimally. Since the work can be intense at times, you need to be able to remain calm and focused even in stressful situations and quickly prioritize and switch between different tasks as needed. You need to have a good ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
